When they design wallpaper, Mark Evans and Charley Brown draw on deep knowledge of and affection for the decorative traditions of the Italian Renaissance. They start with hand drawings, and then employ their mastery of trompe l’oeil techniques to impart unusual degrees of depth and texture to the finished product.
