The Museum Stripes Collection is about the transformation of one work of art into another, taking universally recognized masterpieces of Western art and morphing them into something new. The Mona Lisa, perhaps the most famous painting in the world, breaks into vertical stripes that replicate the rhythm of the colors across the width of the canvas. From there Evans & Brown blends the stripes into a horizontal ombré. If you look closely you will see the ghost of the original painting peering back at you but in a new and fresh form.
