When they design wallpaper for homes, Mark Evans and Charley Brown draw on deep knowledge of and affection for a wide variety of artistic and decorative traditions. They start with hand drawings, and then draw on their mastery of trompe l’oeil techniques to give unusual degrees of depth and texture to the finished product. This pattern for Brewster Home Fashions is inspired by Baroque designs, and complements more elaborately ornamented wallpapers in the Evans & Brown collection.
