The Empress Eugénie was known for her taste for gold dust in her hair and gold dust on the walls. This wallpaper design, part of the Brilliance collection for Brewster Home Fashions, was first hand-painted by Charley Brown to evoke the Belle Époque. “We wanted to make something the Empress would have used at the Tuileries Palace,” Mark says.
